Exiled Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen returns to Kolkata after 19 years
Exiled writer Taslima Nasreen returned to Kolkata after nearly two decades. She described her visit as an emotional homecoming to her own country. Nasreen is scheduled to attend a public program in the city on August 1. This marks her first public appearance in Kolkata since 2007. Protests over her memoir "Dwikhandito" had forced her departure then.
