'Voice sample is not required': Rahul Gandhi’s counsel opposes plea in Savarkar defamation case
Rahul Gandhi's lawyer opposed a plea for his voice sample in a defamation case. The defense argued the request was premature for the ongoing court proceedings. Satyaki Savarkar's deposition also brought Godse-RSS links into focus during cross-examination. The defamation case stems from remarks made by Gandhi in London during 2023. The court has directed the defense to file its formal response by September 1.
