From New York to Delaware: US states to commemorate 'India Day' on August 15
Delaware proclaimed August 15, 2026, as India Day, joining New York and New Jersey. Governor Matthew Meyer highlighted the growing Indian-American community's contributions to Delaware. New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill and New York Governor Kathy Hochul also issued similar proclamations.
