CBI finds nothing suspicious in 22 deaths of minors in Palakkad
The agency’s field verification revealed that 12 of the children died by suicide and 10 from accidental causes, with factors such as poverty and emotional distress cited as contributing reasons. The CBI added that final reports were submitted before respective Sub-Divisional Magistrate Courts by treating the cases as “further action dropped”.
