Vijay vs Udhayanidhi: CM rejects DMK's all-party meet demand on Mekedatu and Cauvery dispute
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay rejected an all-party meeting on the Mekedatu Dam. He asserted his government would not compromise on Cauvery water rights. The opposition leader demanded the meeting, citing concerns over water release. Vijay stated the state's position was already conveyed to the Prime Minister.
