J&K CM visits flood-hit Rajouri, reviews relief measures
Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah visited flood-affected Rajouri district. He directed authorities to expedite restoration and intensify relief and rehabilitation efforts. The government will enhance relief quantum and provide rehabilitation assistance to affected families. Families losing homes and land will receive five marlas for rehabilitation. Construction along vulnerable riverbanks will not be permitted by the administration.
