'Chapter is behind me': Lalit Modi says he'll return to India soon
Lalit Modi plans to return to India by year-end or early next year. This follows major legal relief from the SAFEMA Appellate Tribunal concerning a 2009 IPL case. The tribunal set aside most Enforcement Directorate findings and penalties related to foreign exchange transactions. Modi stated he fought the case for sixteen years and felt vindicated by the verdict.
