Supreme Court takes exception to meagre compensation for ex-HC judges

The Supreme Court has taken exception to low compensation for retired High Court judges. It asked the Union government to form a committee for uniform guidelines. This committee will consider basic minimum security and services for retired judges. The panel will study issues faced by retired judges and submit recommendations.
