'Everyone does naarebaazi in democracy but ... ': Why Supreme Court told Chandigarh admin to 'argue on merits' in Bhagwant Mann case
The Supreme Court will hear the Chandigarh administration's plea regarding an FIR. This FIR was against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other AAP leaders. The High Court had previously quashed the FIR, citing a lack of prima facie case. The protest in 2020 was against a hike in electricity tariffs.
